Where We Go
Virtually anywhere there is a waterway!
We cover most of the English canal system and several rivers, and do not operate to a fixed weekly timetable as we plan each holiday around your interests and places you would like to visit.
Amazingly, most of our towns and cities, from Chester and York in the North, Lincoln in the East and London in the South are all connected to the canal and river system
Because of their concentrated appeal we tend to focus on our "home waters" of the River Thames from London via Windsor to Oxford, and thence onwards via canal to Warwick, Stratford -on-Avon, Gloucester and Worcester.
In late July and August we recommend visiting the Pennine area as it is still uncrowded even in the school holiday period.
We can send you a map of the English waterways we use that gives some idea of its full scope, to supplement the more detailed map of our "home waters."
We can tailor virtually any trip to your requirements. Give us an idea of your interests etc, and whether it is for 1 week, 2 weeks, or more, and we will suggest itineraries for you. We are a charter operation and you have considerable flexibility not only before but also during your holiday. Some clients enjoyed cruising so much they extended their route by 20%, others liked Oxford so much they stayed an additional day !
